Thoughts are very powerful!
Growing up I never had a hold of my thoughts and I never really  realized how my negative thoughts were affecting me or my life overall. Not only were the relationships in my life affected by it but there were many opportunities that were missed. I noticed that it all stemmed from fear but I was fearful because of my thoughts that I constantly allowed to consume me.
When I decided to take my relationship with God seriously, my negative thoughts along with peoples perception of me was what I use to speak over myself.
Trying to change your thinking is not easy, it was hard for me and still can be at times. As a result it was hard to believe who I was in Christ. It was also hard to believe that I had a purpose in life. Negative thinking speaking and actions is what use to control my life. As I got older I recognized I had to try something different. Scriptures I would hear growing up that I thought I believed to be true, I didn’t. They were just words on a paper. I decided to take the scriptures and apply them to my life. I did that by writing it down and speaking the word of God over myself daily. In Habukuk 2:2 it says
“Then the Lord said to me,  write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others” . Thats why God gave me Anchored in Truth.
So I am choosing to be obedient and write it down plain, to remind you of the message. To remind you that it is okay not to be okay BUT that is not a truth that cannot be altered. The truth about who you are is in the word of God.that true stands above everything, the message is clear and never changing. I pray my testimonies, through the expression of writing blesses you. That it encourages you to overcome. Most importantly God wants you to know you are not alone.
